| What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? |
Decentralisation is a continuous process where as distributed network is an information architecture. Unless there are dynamic processes within, a distributed network cannot be decentralised. I favour decentralisation of information systems, digital identities, global finance, international trade. I believe in this age of complexity, decentralisation can help us to better the lives of people. |

First of all, Elixxir platform is unique as it is envisioned by David Chaum, the inventor of DigiCash and the pioneer of Cryptography. Secondly the node selection algorithm in Elixxir is unique. The Hash based ownership is another novelty. I see the way in which Elixxir has integrated ownership, consensus, communication and security in totality is very comprehensive and unique compared to other Blockchain platforms which give selective focus to the mentioned features. |
| Privacy by Default is a goal of the Elixxir Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? |
Yes indeed. In this Orwellian age of surveillance and censorship regimes, privacy is of prime importance to people. Security without privacy does not make any sense to our lives in this age of digital tools. |
