| What kind of improvements would you like to see in Elixxir nodes vs. previous the previous nodes you have supported? | Faster startup times: download the whole blockchain block by block is inefficient. A good deploying operation: zCash requires tons of steps. Smartcash is a good one. Support IPV6. Really, IPv4 may be the current tech, but we are the future, right? The zCash dashboard is nice to have. |

| What is the difference between decentralized networks and distributed networks, and where on the decentralization spectrum do you sit? | Distributed is more about infrastructure. Cloudflare proxies are distributed, but centralized. Not all distributed networks are decentralized. SWIFT is distributed too, but not much decentralized. A decentralized structure must be distributed too, but nobody really owns the network. Bitcoin is one example, but Ripple is not. I am ore on the side of the decentralization. Let Elixxir owners, node operators and devs all vote, and the community moves. |
| As best as you can given currently available information, please describe the value proposition of the Elixxir platform and how it differs from other current blockchain solutions. | The transaction volume promised is way above the current rates, and 10-second payment time is on par with credit card industry. Unlinkable transactions are already common, but not all 3 at the same time: fast, private transactions, and large transaction rate. |
| Privacy by Default is a goal of the Elixxir Platform. In your opinion, why is Privacy by Default critical for the future of the internet? | Governments and corporations already know every single bit of our information online. Metadata collection is the norm everywhere. We need to take this power back, to avoid labelling people based on their navigation, spending and speaking behaviour. |
